Painting tools become available in the mini toolbar when a Paint layer is created and selected in the Layers stack. The painting tools available are:
- Paint/Eraser – The Paint tool lets you add unique, hand-painted details on a Paint layer. The Eraser tool shares many of the Paint Brush tool’s settings and can be used to erase or remove detail. The top area of the Tool Settings window displays the current brush preview. Changing any settings updates the preview in real-time to give you a clearer idea of what your brush stroke will look like.
- Flood Fill – Allows you to rapidly fill areas of similar color.
- Gradient Tool – This allows you to apply a volumetric gradient from the mesh’s start to end points.
