All Marmoset Toolbag users are eligible for a free, full-featured, 30-day trial license to access the software. Per user account, a free trial license is available for each major version of the software (i.e. v4, v5, etc.).
To get started evaluating Toolbag’s real-time rendering, baking, and texturing tools:
1. Download & Install Toolbag #
The latest Toolbag installers (Windows & macOS) are available for download from the Home page of your Marmoset account.
For hardware and OS requirements, please review the System Requirements.
2. Run the Software #
A confirmed account is required to gain access to Toolbag. If you have already set up an account through Marmoset’s account portal, proceed to step 3 below.
If not, submit your email address using the “Create an account” option on the Marmoset account portal’s main page, and check your inbox for an account confirmation link. It will be sent from support@marmoset.co with the subject line: Marmoset Account: Confirmation Required. Click the confirmation link, and then set your password when prompted.
3. Log In! #
With a confirmed account ready, return to the software and use the ‘Log In’ form on Toolbag’s welcome window to activate your free trial. A 30-day trial license will be automatically created upon a successful software login.

Note: Your free trial license may be transferred to another machine by logging into the software on another machine with your same account. However, no more than 1 trial license may be concurrently used on the same machine.
